Other Russian-language Services
For Adoptive Parents
Information and assistance in finding your
adopted child's birthmother is available at the Russian Family Search website.
This website is maintained by Mary Kay, an adoptive mother of a Russian child who
has helped many other adoptive families contact birth-families to obtain medical
history, find out about orphaned siblings, or just to open a line of
communication. Mary has several experiences documented so that you know
what to expect if you choose to search for your child's birthmother. If Mary can't provide exactly what you need, she can put you in touch with
the right people - translators, guides, adoption agencies, etc.
How to Call RussiaNot everyone is familiar with how to make an

My Russian Roots
My name is Natasha. I live in Phoenix, Arizona. I was born and raised in
Saratov, Russia.
Russia has many cities that are
hundreds of years old, each with its own history. It is well worth the effort
for Russians to remember their heritage. We are
part of a culture and a history that is unique in the world.
Knowing both English and Russian puts me in a position to help other Russians in
America to stay in touch with their Russian roots.
